Drawn material
Cold-drawn or bright steels are primarily used for metal-cutting machining; their most important characteristic is high dimensional accuracy, which allows the finished part to require no further machining.
Its applications include the manufacture of mass-produced metal goods, the manufacture of automotive parts, and the production of products with high aesthetic requirements (e.g., shopping carts, lattice structures, shelves, furniture, decorative elements).
Based on the manufacturing process, we distinguish between two categories:
The advantage of the drawing process is that it enhances strength properties while improving machinability, whereas the peeling process results in a more homogeneous material throughout its entire cross-section by removing the surface decarburization layer. Another advantage of rolled products is that their mechanical properties remain unchanged.
Our product range includes the following types of drawn materials:
Flat steel
Round steel
Square steel
Hexagonal steel
